New Walking Dead series now casting actors and extras


The new AMC Walking Dead series is now casting extras. The series will focus on the first generation to grow up in the apocalypse, specifically through the eyes of two female heroes. AMC has ordered an initial 10 episodes of the new series conceived by former showrunner (and current franchise chief content officer) Scott M. Gimple and flagship writer Matt Negrete, who will serve as a showrunner.

Extras Casting Information

Those interested in working on the new Walking Dead series as paid extras can submit their information. All extras MUST be located in the Richmond, VA area to be considered. Shooting will take place in the Richmond area through November, 2019. Transportation and accommodations are not provided for extras. Production is seeking people of all ethnicities, ages, genders, and types to play various characters throughout the series. Specifically seeking actors with a background in movement or dance, with open availability and a flexible schedule.

There will be an open call for SAG/AFTRA members ONLY who are interested in Background and/or Stand-in work.
