Open casting call this Saturday for feature film 'The Glorias'

The feature film "The Glorias", starring Julianne Moore, Bette Midler, Janelle Monae and Alicia Vikander, has scheduled an in-person open casting call this weekend for people interested in working as fully paid extras and stand-ins.

The film is based on feminist icon Gloria Steinem's best selling memoir, "My Life on the Road", telling the story of her itinerant childhood's influence on her life as a writer, activist and organizer for women's rights worldwide". Julie Taymor, Tony Award winning director of "The Lion King" on Broadway, is set to direct the film with Moore starring as the adult Steinem and Vikander as a slightly younger version of the activist.
