'Rambo 5' now casting lead and supporting roles
The upcoming feature film "Rambo 5" is now casting lead and supporting roles. This will be the final chapter in the film franchise, in which three-time Academy Award nominee Sylvester Stallone (John Rambo) goes up against a Mexican cartel. The story centers on John Rambo living and working on a ranch in Arizona, trying to live a private and quiet life. However, that all changes when a human trafficking gang starts abducting local women and bringing them into Mexico. John Rambo teams with a journalist to rescue the women. Adrian Grunberg will direct "Rambo 5" from an original screenplay written by Sylvester Stallone, Matthew Cirulnick, and David Morrell. Avi Lerner, Steven Paul, and Kevin King Templeton are producers. Christa Campbell, Lati Grobman, and Ariel Vromen are serving as executive producers.
Talent interested in being considered for lead and supporting roles in "Rambo 5" can sign up to be submitted to the casting directors, and subsequently perform video and Skype auditions from any location. The fee for the submission service is a one time talent fee of $19. After your sign-up fee is received, you will then email in your photos (can be cell phone photos) and general information (contact information, age, height, weight, any special skills or activities, etc.) You will then be submitted directly to the casting director for "Rambo 5". The casting director will provide a script segment for you to create a self-made audition video. You will then email that video back to the casting director, and the process will continue with a live Skype audition with the director. Talent from any location, and any level of experience are being accepted.
The roles being cast include the following:
Female, any ethnicity, between 30-50 years of age, a journalist who works with John Rambo to take on the Mexican cartel human trafficking ring.
Female, Caucasian, between 18-28 years of age. A known friend of John Rambo, she is abducted by the Mexican cartel and brought to Mexico.
Male, Hispanic, between 45-55 years of age. To play a top member of the Mexican cartel and leader of the human trafficking operation.
Male, Caucasian, between 30-50 years of age, and FBI agent.
Male, Caucasian, between 50-60 years of age, who plays a philanthropist who provides John Rambo the finances and resources to go up against the Mexican cartel.
Female, African American, between 35-45 years of age, the mother of one of the girls kidnapped and brought to Mexico by the cartel.
